Is admission to Farmfair International free?

Yes. General admission is free; no tickets are required. Some special events require tickets: 4-H Alberta Day, Farm Forward, Find Your Farmer: Singles Mixer, Paint Night.

When and where is Farmfair International?

Farmfair International takes place November 5-8, 2026, at the Edmonton EXPO Centre.

When is Farmfair each year?

2026: November 5-8

2027:  November 4-7

What are the daily hours for shows and activities?

Doors open at 8:00 a.m. daily. Event times vary; check the schedule for cattle shows, demonstrations, competitions, and special events.

Why do I need to pay for some activities?

While general admission is free, certain experiences, special events, competitions, and premium programming may require tickets or registration fees.

Is Farmfair International family-friendly?

Yes. General admission is free for visitors of all ages.

Can I bring a stroller or wagon?

Yes. Strollers and wagons are welcome throughout the Edmonton EXPO Centre.

What should I wear?

Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. November weather in Edmonton can be cold, so dress in layers and bring appropriate outdoor clothing.

How long does it take to explore Farmfair International?

Most visitors spend between two and six hours at the event depending on their interests and participation in scheduled activities.

Where can I Park?

The Edmonton EXPO Centre offers approximately 3,800 on-site stalls. Parking is pay-by-plate and payment is required upon arrival.

Is there public transit to the venue?

Are nearby hotels available?

Yes. Visitors can book accommodations through Edmonton's Best Hotels and choose from more than 50 hotels throughout Edmonton.

What food and beverage options are available?

Food court concessions operate throughout Farmfair International and offer coffee, snacks, beverages, and hot meals.

Are water fountains available?

Yes. Water fountains and refill stations are located throughout the venue.

Do vendors accept cards or cash?

Most vendors accept major credit/debit cards; ATMs are on‑site. Concessions and parking support cashless payment.

Yes. The Edmonton EXPO Centre is fully accessible and includes barrier-free entrances, accessible washrooms, and designated seating areas.

Are service animals allowed?

Certified service animals are welcome in accordance with applicable regulations.

Are pets allowed?

No. Pets and non-service animals are not permitted inside the venue.

Can I purchase livestock or genetics at Farmfair International?

Many cattle sales and networking opportunities take place throughout the event. Refer to the cattle event schedule for details.

Can I bring a bag or backpack?

Small bags and backpacks are permitted and may be subject to inspection. Oversized items and coolers should be left at home.

What is the International AgBusiness Centre (IABC)?

The IABC is a dedicated business hub for international delegates, buyers, exporters, and industry professionals attending Farmfair International.

I'm travelling from outside Canada. Should I register as an International Guest?

Yes. International visitors are encouraged to register as International Guests to access business services, networking opportunities, and event amenities.

Can I take photos or videos?

Yes, for personal use unless otherwise posted. Professional use requires approval.

What is your Photo/Video Release policy?

By attending, you grant Explore Edmonton and its designees the right to use your image and/or likeness in live or recorded video, photography, and other media from the event for broadcast, marketing, and promotion of this and future events. All rights to event names, marks, and logos are reserved by Explore Edmonton. Attendees agree not to record or distribute event content in ways that infringe on these rights.
