What is B.E.E.F. International?
B.E.E.F. International (Battle of Emerging Elite Farmers) is a one-of-a-kind international event that unites young agricultural leaders from around the world for an immersive week of competition, connection, and celebration in the heart of Canadian cattle country.
This isn’t just a cattle show, it’s a global experience!
Open to individuals aged 18–25, the event combines industry-forward challenges with educational tours, elite networking opportunities, and the chance to experience Alberta’s leading livestock showcase, Farmfair International.

What to Expect
Over six dynamic days, participants will engage in a wide variety of experiences that blend competition, career development, and cultural exchange:

Tuesday, Nov 4 – Welcome to Edmonton!
• Pre-event tour of Edmonton & Surrounding Areas • Group supper & welcome package distribution • Launch of the Social Media Competition

Wednesday, Nov 5 – Monetize Your Trip Competition
• Team presentations ‘Monetize Your Trip’ • Cattle shows, barn tours & networking • Evening awards at Ultimate Legends showcase

Thursday, Nov 6 – Herdsman Judging Begins
• Stall judging, Frozen Genetics workshop • Politician Meet & Greet (TBD) • President’s Reception with semi-formal flair

Friday, Nov 7 – Herdsman Finals + Beef & Bacon Bash
• Final judging round live in-ring • Major awards: banners, buckles, and more • Celebrating the Beef & Bacon event

Saturday, Nov 8 – Supreme Saturday
• 4-H Alberta Day + Collegiate Judging • Junior mentorship & speed networking • VIP treatment at the Supreme Show • Optional concert or hospitality event

Sunday, Nov 9 – Farm Tours & Farewell
• Post-event Tour: Farmfair International aligned farm visits • Keepsake gift bags & group send-off
How to Participate
We’re looking for passionate young agriculturalists ready to compete, connect, and grow.
Teams:
Applicants must be 18–25, committed to full participation (no concurrent stall work during competition)
Teams will be 4 individuals plus a coach, recommended not mandatory.
Each team must represent at least two breeds.
Coaches:
Each team is recommended to have a coach; however, it is not mandatory. An ideal candidate will bring:
