Designed for 4-H members, Cleaver Kids, leaders, and screened volunteers, this one-of-a-kind event combines hands-on learning, leadership development, competitions, wellness activities, and exclusive Farmfair International experiences.

Brett Gardiner

Brett Gardiner is the most awarded western sports announcer in Canadian history and a 13-time Canadian Pro Rodeo Announcer of the Year. Known for his work at premier events like the Canadian Finals Rodeo, Calgary Stampede, and the PBR Canada Cup Series on TSN, Brett brings unmatched energy and insight to every stage. Beyond announcing, Brett is a dedicated advocate for mental health and peak performance. With a master’s degree in counselling psychology and doctoral studies in sports psychology, he works closely with elite athletes, teams, and organizations. Through his speaking and coaching, Brett shares his personal journey to inspire others to prioritize wellness, build resilience, and reach their full potential.

Bench Show

Showcase your creativity, project work, and skills while competing alongside 4-H members from across Alberta in the annual 4-H Alberta Day Bench Show.

University of Alberta 4-H & Collegiate Judging Competition

Participate in the University of Alberta Judging Competition and challenge yourself through consumer, livestock, and animal evaluation classes while testing your decision-making and critical thinking skills.

Additional registration fee: $15

Please note that judging participants must also register for 4-H Alberta Day.
