Speaker Bio

Aidan Nicholson is an estate planning lawyer at Linmac LLP in Calgary, Alberta, where he focuses on farm succession planning and taxation. Coming from a family that lost their farm, he intimately understands the unique challenges that ag families face when transitioning their operations to the next generation.

His passion for farm succession planning comes from his own family's struggle to keep their farm in the family and from seeing other agricultural families face similar hardships when navigating farm transitions. His goal as a lawyer is to help farm families preserve and protect their hard-earned legacies.

Outside of the office, Aidan lends a hand on farms and ranches, volunteers with the High River Ag Society, and travels the rodeo trail helping stock contractors whenever needed. He can be reached at anicholson@linmac.com.
