Led by knowledgeable Farmfair volunteers, Barn Tours offer a unique opportunity to meet exhibitors, learn about livestock care, explore the show barns, and experience Farmfair from a new perspective.
Whether you're visiting with family, exploring Edmonton, or experiencing agriculture for the first time, Barn Tours offer a unique behind-the-scenes look at livestock and agriculture at Farmfair International.
School and homeschool groups should register through the Farmfair Field Trip Program, which includes a guided Barn Tour as part of the educational experience.

What You'll Experience
During this 20-minute guided tour, you'll meet livestock exhibitors, learn about animal care and welfare, discover how animals are prepared for competition, and explore the daily activities that take place behind the scenes at Farmfair International.
Tours are designed for all ages and no agricultural background is required.

Before You Enter the Barns
Safety First
All participants must complete a waiver and review the Barn Tour Safety Orientation before entering the livestock areas.
Visitors must follow instructions from tour guides, remain with their group, and respect exhibitor and livestock spaces at all times.
For the safety of both guests and animals, livestock interaction is only permitted when invited and supervised by Farmfair staff or exhibitors.

Family Tours
Family Tours are perfect for first-time visitors, families, and anyone curious about agriculture.
Tours are approximately 20 minutes long, are guided by trained volunteers, and are included with Farmfair admission.
Tours operate throughout the day, with departures every 30 minutes beginning at 10:00 AM. Final tour schedules are subject to livestock programming and barn activity.

School Groups
School groups, homeschool groups, and youth organizations should register through the Farmfair Field Trip Program, which includes a guided Barn Tour, Ag Education Zone access, educator resources, and safety orientation.
