About the Session:
Through telling his own story, Brett identifies current mental health trends, including why we are all constantly “Battling for Baseline.” He will explore positive growth, the power of mindset, and positive psychological principles to support our well-being in good times and help build resilience during challenging times. This discussion will acknowledge the agricultural community's unique culture and its impacts on mental health and performance. Further, he will discuss specific strategies you can incorporate personally or with those you work with.

Brett Gardiner, the most-awarded announcer in Western sports history. The 14-time Canadian Pro Rodeo Announcer of the Year, Brett, brings his unique energy and excitement to high-stakes events like the Calgary Stampede, the Canadian Finals Rodeo, and the PBR's Canada Cup series on TSN.
But Brett's impact extends far beyond the arena. With a Master's in Counselling Psychology, Gardiner, who is pursuing his doctoral degree in Sport and Performance Psychology, has become one of the most sought-after mental performance coaches, consultants, and speakers, bridging the gap between high performance and human wellness.
Brett has worked with Stanley Cup champions, world-class athletes, performers, and top organizations, helping teams and leaders unlock their full potential. Through his unique experiences with mental health, performance, and education, Brett inspires and equips audiences to prioritize well-being without sacrificing results and to live their best lives.
When he's not on the road, Brett can be found in his hometown of Sylvan Lake, AB, where he and his family champion the “Chase the Good” movement. This charitable organization encourages humankind to chase what is good in the world by promoting positivity, kindness, and community connection.
