Calling all amateur photographers across Canada. This is your opportunity to capture the spirit of agriculture and have your work showcased at Farmfair International.
What We’re Looking For
From wide-open prairie skies to close-up moments on the farm, show us what agriculture means to you:
Scenery & Settings – fields, barns, machinery, landscapes
People & Life – farm families, everyday moments, rural life
Animals & Details – livestock, pets, textures, and the little things
Creative Shots – black & white or unique perspectives
Prizes
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ribbons in every class
Best of Section (Adult & Junior): $100
Best in Show: $200
Key Dates
Entries Open: September 15, 2026
Entry Deadline: October 28, 2026 (by 9:00 AM)
Judging: October 31 – November 2
Public Viewing: November 5–8
Prize Pickup: November 8, 4–6 PM (EXPO Centre)
Who Can Enter
Open to amateur photographers across Canada
Junior Division: under 18 as of November 1, 2026
Entries must be original, taken within the last two years, and not previously entered in another Explore Edmonton competition
