GRAHAM NEIL
Graham Neil is a dynamic communicator and an instructor in the Digital Media and IT program at the Northern Institute of Technology in Edmonton. His expertise stems from his career as the host and reporter of the nightly entertainment segment on CTV Edmonton. His two-decades-long career highlights include interviews with some of the biggest entertainers in the world, including Tom Cruise, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Garth Brooks, the Rolling Stones, Metallica, Jerry Seinfeld and his favourite - Henry Winkler – the Fonz!
His remarkable ability to engage and connect with diverse personalities has garnered him numerous accolades, including an international Edward R. Murrow award, two Alberta Motion Picture Industry Awards, and a Radio and Television News Directors Association award. Graham was honoured as Edmonton’s Man of the Year for work on TV and in the community, including with Edmonton’s Food Bank.
Beyond his broadcasting achievements, Graham is also a stand-up comedian, sharing stages with comedy legends such as Martin Short, Brad Garrett, and Rob Schneider from “Saturday Night Live.” He also writes and produces national touring live storytelling concerts illuminating iconic performers' music and lives, including Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings and Tom Petty.
